Certified Pilates Instructor — Role Summary

St. Paul Pilates & Fitness (SPPF) is looking for a part to full-time Certified Pilates Instructor to teach private and semi-private lessons, as well as group classes in both Mat and Apparatus Pilates. We are located in the Midway neighborhood in St. Paul, just north of University Ave. We are a growing studio looking for someone who can work during the day throughout the week, and occasional weekend hours. If you are an experienced teacher looking for a small studio with flexibility or a teacher fresh out of certification looking for a place to learn and grow, we would love to meet you.

Qualifications

  • Certification in Pilates Mat and Reformer Required – preference for STOTT Pilates training, but open to other styles

  • Additional training in Chair, Cadillac, and Barrels preferred

  • Training in populations with diverse mobility levels preferred

  • Strong Customer Service skills

  • Excellent Verbal Communication skills

  • Experience with managing online schedules and payments, or willingness to learn

  • Ability to open and close the studio with confidence

  • Ability to maintian a clean and organized studio before, during, and after session

  • Ability to work with clients of different ages and abilities

  • Special training in perinatal and/or scoliosis is desirable but not required

SPPF opened in January of 2023 with a great group of members leading the charge to create an energetic community. We firmly believe that a career in the health and wellness industry should provide people with flexibility and a work-life balance that allows them to bring their best selves to every session with clients. Our team is small but mighty, and looking to grow to meet the demand of new members reaching out to join our community. We offer competitive pay based on experience level and allow our staff to take the lead on how they envision being a part of what we’re building. Our Pilates equipment is all STOTT, and all of our trainers are currently fully STOTT certified, or working toward their certification.
